CrowdStack vs Linear
Linear is the fast, keyboard-first issue tracker that product engineering teams love. CrowdStack's Issues is a simple tracker that lives beside the support inbox and the CRM. Here is how they line up, including where Linear still wins.

Why teams pick CrowdStack
Issues that know the customer
Turn a support ticket into an issue in one click, link it to the contact, and see it on their record beside their tickets and deals. Linear needs a Zendesk or Intercom integration on Business to get halfway there.
Simple for the whole company
Statuses, projects, list and kanban, comments and mentions. Support, product and sales log and follow issues in the same tool they already work in, with no second login.
One price for the whole stack
Linear plus a help desk plus a CRM is three bills. CrowdStack is £28 a user a month for issues, the help desk, the CRM, Stripe revenue, feedback and docs together.
Feedback and docs beside the backlog
A public feedback board feeds the issue list, and the wiki links to issues, tickets and contacts with @mentions. Linear leaves both to other tools.

Where Linear is the better choice
We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us. Stay on Linear if your engineering team plans in cycles with estimates and velocity, wants initiatives and roadmaps, lives in GitHub and Slack, or values a tracker built for speed above everything else. Linear is superb at that and cheaper per seat as a pure tracker. CrowdStack Issues is for teams who want a simple tracker that support, product and sales will actually use, linked to the ticket and the customer it came from.
What is included
- SupportA shared inbox for customer support queries, with knowledge base, automation, and AI so your team replies faster.
- CRMContacts, companies, and a deal pipeline for sales, with tasks and activity on the same people Support already knows.
- RevenueStripe subscriptions synced into MRR, churn, and customer metrics on the contacts your team already uses.
- IssuesAn internal work tracker for your team: bugs, tasks, and projects, with a straight line back to the ticket or contact that started it.
- FeedbackCollect feature requests from your customers, let them vote, and publish a public roadmap board when you are ready.
- DocsAn internal wiki for your team, where a page can mention the ticket, contact, or deal it is about and link straight back to it.
Common questions
Is CrowdStack a Linear alternative?
For a simple issue tracker, yes. CrowdStack Issues has statuses, projects, list and kanban views, comments, visibility controls and links to tickets and contacts, and comes with the help desk, CRM, Stripe revenue, feedback board and wiki. It does not have cycles, estimates, initiatives, triage or Git integrations.
How does the price compare for a team of five?
Five users on CrowdStack cost £140 a month at the full rate, with every product and 2500 pooled AI credits included. Five users on Linear are free until 250 issues, then $60 a month on Basic or $90 on Business; a help desk and a CRM are two more bills. As a pure tracker Linear is cheaper; as a stack it is not.
Can I import my issues from Linear?
Issues export from Linear as CSV and import with title, description, status, assignee and project mapped across. Email us at support@crowdstack.org before you switch and we will walk through the mapping with you.
What does Linear have that CrowdStack does not?
Cycles, estimates and velocity, initiatives and roadmaps, triage and issue SLAs, GitHub, GitLab and Figma integrations, a Slack integration and a free plan. If your engineering team runs on a fast, opinionated tracker, Linear is the better fit today.
