Why teams pick CrowdStack

Less than half the price, more on the seat

Suite Team is £59 an agent a month for support alone. CrowdStack is £28 a user a month for support, CRM, revenue, issues, feedback and docs, with 500 AI credits a month already in.

The CRM is in the same window

Every requester is a contact, every contact belongs to a company, and deals sit beside tickets. On Zendesk that is a second product, Zendesk Sell, with a second bill.

Know what a customer is worth

Connect Stripe and the plan, MRR and churn risk show on the ticket sidebar, so agents can see who they are talking to. Zendesk needs a marketplace app or a custom integration.

AI credits come with the seat

Every user adds 500 AI credits a month to a shared pool, which covers knowledge-grounded replies, draft assist and portal AI; heavy users buy more credits. Zendesk sells its copilot at £40 an agent and its AI agents by resolution.

Where Zendesk is the better choice

We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us. Stay on Zendesk if you run a contact centre with phone, live chat or WhatsApp, need workforce management and QA tooling, rely on a Slack integration, or depend on the marketplace of apps that comes with a help desk of Zendesk's size. CrowdStack is for support teams at product companies who want the CRM and the revenue numbers in the same tool as the inbox, and who want a monthly AI allowance in the seat rather than a separate copilot licence.

What is included

Common questions

Is CrowdStack a Zendesk alternative?

For email and portal support, yes. CrowdStack has the shared inbox, saved views, SLAs, macros, automations, knowledge base, CSAT and AI replies that most teams use Zendesk for, and adds a CRM, Stripe revenue, issues, a feedback board and a wiki. It does not have live chat, voice or messaging channels.

How does the price compare for a team of five?

Five users on CrowdStack cost £140 a month at the full rate, with every product and 2500 pooled AI credits included. Five agents on Zendesk Suite Team list at £295 a month for support alone, or £575 on Suite Professional, before the £40 an agent copilot add-on.

Can I import my tickets and users from Zendesk?

Users and organisations import from a Zendesk CSV export as contacts and companies. Email us at support@crowdstack.org before you switch and we will walk through the mapping, and talk through what to do with ticket history.

What does Zendesk have that CrowdStack does not?

Live chat and messaging, voice, WhatsApp and SMS, workforce management, QA, a Slack integration and a large app marketplace. If your support runs on channels other than email and a help centre, Zendesk is the better fit today.
