CrowdStack vs Notion
Notion is the all-purpose workspace: docs, databases, wikis and sites for every kind of team. CrowdStack's Docs is a team wiki that lives beside the inbox, the CRM and the issue tracker, and links to all of them. Here is how they line up, including where Notion still wins.

Why teams pick CrowdStack
Docs that link to the work
Mention a ticket, a contact, a deal or an issue in a page and it becomes a live link, with a References panel on the page and a Linked from panel on the record. Notion links to Notion.
One tool, one login
The runbook for a support issue sits beside the tickets it explains. Sales notes sit beside the deal. Nobody keeps a second app open or pastes URLs between them.
Permissions that match the team
Workspace-wide or restricted pages, with full, edit or view rights per teammate, inherited down the tree. Notion's private teamspaces need Business.
One price for the whole stack
Notion plus a help desk plus a CRM is three bills. CrowdStack is £28 a user a month for docs, the help desk, the CRM, Stripe revenue, issues and feedback together.

Where Notion is the better choice
We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us. Stay on Notion if you want databases, relations and formulas, real-time collaborative editing, templates, public sites, AI over the whole workspace, or a free plan for a small team. Notion is a far more capable writing and building tool. CrowdStack Docs is for teams who want a simple wiki in the same place as the inbox, the CRM and the issues, where every page can point at the ticket, the customer or the bug it is about.
What is included
- SupportA shared inbox for customer support queries, with knowledge base, automation, and AI so your team replies faster.
- CRMContacts, companies, and a deal pipeline for sales, with tasks and activity on the same people Support already knows.
- RevenueStripe subscriptions synced into MRR, churn, and customer metrics on the contacts your team already uses.
- IssuesAn internal work tracker for your team: bugs, tasks, and projects, with a straight line back to the ticket or contact that started it.
- FeedbackCollect feature requests from your customers, let them vote, and publish a public roadmap board when you are ready.
- DocsAn internal wiki for your team, where a page can mention the ticket, contact, or deal it is about and link straight back to it.
Common questions
Is CrowdStack a Notion alternative?
For a team wiki, yes. CrowdStack Docs has a rich text editor with a slash menu, nested pages, search, per-teammate permissions, archive, and @mentions that link to tickets, contacts, deals and issues with backlinks both ways, and it comes with the help desk, CRM, Stripe revenue, issues and feedback board. It does not have databases, real-time co-editing, templates, public sites or AI writing.
How does the price compare for a team of five?
Five users on CrowdStack cost £140 a month at the full rate, with every product and 2500 pooled AI credits included. Five members on Notion Plus are £42.50 a month on an annual plan, or £82.50 on Business; a help desk and a CRM are two more bills. As a wiki Notion is cheaper; as a stack it is not.
Can I import my pages from Notion?
Pages export from Notion as Markdown or HTML and import into Docs with headings, lists, code and tables preserved and the page tree kept. Databases come across as tables. Email us at support@crowdstack.org before you switch and we will walk through it with you.
What does Notion have that CrowdStack does not?
Databases with relations and formulas, real-time collaborative editing, templates, public sites with custom domains, Notion AI, Notion Calendar and Mail, a Slack integration, a large integrations directory and a free plan. If your team builds its processes in Notion rather than writing them down, Notion is the better fit today.
